Visual artist who works with a broad range of mixed mediums, her main focus is on painting. Using a conceptual approach, she tends to work in series.

Agnese Kaupere draws inspiration from her own experiences of working for the fashion magazines and creating scenography in a theater as well as literature and cinema. By using popular themes such as woman's body, sexuality, underlying psychological developments and intensity, she touches various overlapping themes.

Ultimately, the unifying motif is the varied timeline that enthuses her work forming into a mixture of aesthetic expression and exploration of mass culture with a tinge of provocation.
